Abstract

Primary brain lymphoma is a type of aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma that originates in the central nervous system and is diagnosed when there is no evidence of lymphoma anywhere else in the body. Although systemic lymphomas are better known and studied, primary brain lymphoma has been less understood due to its low frequency until a few decades ago. The treatment of this disease continues to be debated. On this occasion, the unusual case of large B cell lymphoma NOS associated with hydrocephalus and its management is reported.
